Les relations commerciales entre la Tunisie et les pays de l'Union européenne dans le domaine agricole

M'Nasri B.

The trade convention between Tunisia and the European Union countries was controlled, at the bilateral level, by trade agreements with the principal partners and, at the multilateral level, by agreements of association and co-operation with the European Union. The bilateral agreements devote the principle of the reciprocity and the processing of the most favoured Nation. The new agreement of 1995 covers the various fields of co-operation and envisages the institution of a Free trade area. This free trade area relates to only the industrial products. For the agricultural produce, it is planned measurements of progressive liberalisation of the exchanges. The context, in which evolve the external exchange of Tunisian food products, will be characterised in particular by some movements of opening and of liberalisation - external as well as internal - offering to Tunisia some new appropriateness of promotion and development of its export of food products.
