Geometric design of range roads

Rangelands in Greece have a fixed economic value because of the vast surface area they cover. Access to rangelands through a network of roads is a way of improving their management. The network of roads should be localized, adapted and maintained. These access routes are helpful for moving animals, population, forage, dairy products, etc., provide recreation, and increase protection against fires. This paper deals with the elements needed for designing the above-mentioned roads.
