Specie vegetali e habitat rari e minacciati in Albania

The Red List of Threatened and Lower Risk plant species of Albania includes 320 species, which represent about 10percent of the whole vascular flora. Regarding the floristic element the endemic species make up 10percent, subendemic 38percent, balkanic 11percent and sub-balkanic 4percent. The other part is made up of the nonbalkanic elements, 4percent of whose are stenomediterranean. Of them, 6 species belong to Pteridophytes, 5 to Gymnosperms and 309 to Angyosperms. According to IUCN categories, these species are presented as follows: Critically Endangered (CR) 5percent, Endangered (EN) 18.1percent, Vulnerable (VU) 6.3percent, Lower Risk (LR) 60.6percent and Data Deficient (DD) 10 percent.
