Almond rootstock breeding for easy propagation

Almond, peach and several plum species, potential rootstocks for almond, are reviewed regarding their propagation ability by cuttings in order to identify the cultivars and selections more easily propagated. These could be used as parents in breeding programmes of new vegetatively propagated rootstocks for almond.
