Marché mondiaux, marchés communautaires et marchés méditerranéens après l'acte final du cycle d'Uruguay. La poussière du passé face aux vents de libéralisation agricole
The author gives a progress report on the new context, which derives from the GATT agreement and the reform of the common agricultural policy (CAP) for the euro-Mediterranean relations. He aims at describing the range and the consequences of them on Mediterranean agricultural trade within the new agro-institutional framework. The article begins by describing the starting situation of the Mediterranean economies and their exchanges. The future framework of the agricultural relations between the European Union and Mediterranean Third countries (GATT agricultural agreement and the new external shutter for the Mediterranean) is thus specified with its total impact on the euro-Mediterranean relations. Lastly, the principal problems, which rise from the space of economic euro-Mediterranean for agriculture of Third countries, are evoked.
