The range forest ecosystems: Problems for a sustainable development under the anthropic constraints

Qarro M.

The fundamental problem in most rural areas is poverty. Farmers from rural areas have no access to external markets and services and this results in insufficient use or misuse of natural resources and in the resulting impoverishment process. The future of natural resources depends to a large extent on the standard of living of people and their living conditions as well as on the possibility to obtain revenues. The integrated rural development programme (PDRI) is based on an integrated and sustainable approach of rural areas with the aim of helping in eradicating poverty and in rationally using natural resources, mainly as rangelands.
